We store only what the app needs to work: your account details, profile, posts, stories, messages, calls and activity. Private, friends-only and group content is protected by database-level security rules that run on every single request.
What we collect
- Account data: email address (never shown to other members) and password hash.
- Profile details you choose to add — name, bio, photo, cover, location, occupation, birthday, phone and relationship status. Each of these is governed by your privacy settings.
- Content you create: posts, comments, reactions, stories, group activity, messages.
- Engagement records: post views, story views and profile visits — recorded once per member (profile visits once per member per day) so counts are always real.
- Call records: who called whom, the call type, the time and the duration. Call audio and video stream directly between devices and are never stored by us.
Your controls
- Settings → Privacy lets you choose who sees your last seen, online status, phone, profile, stories, groups, friends list and profile visitors.
- Blocking stops all messages, calls, profile access and interactions instantly.
- Stories are deleted automatically 24 hours after posting.
- You can edit your profile, delete your posts, and delete chats at any time.
How we protect it
- Direct messages are visible only to the sender and the recipient.
- Uploaded media is stored privately and served through short-lived signed links.
- Row-level security is enabled on every table holding member data.
- We never sell your data or share it with advertisers.
